Since this site is entirely devoted to bringing together information on the top romantic movies of all time, we had to dedicate a post to this very popular romantic film series. When the Twilight Saga novels were first released, beginning in 2005 with the publication of the first novel, they quickly amassed a substantial cult following. After the great success of the books, it was only a matter of time before the works would be adapted for the silver screen.

Twilight Movie Series

At the box office, the movie adaptations have proved to be very lucrative and popular. The books were all authored by writer Stephanie Meyer, with a total of four novels in this particular series. The entire book collection can be found here on Amazon.

So far, three movies have been produced and debuted in theatres, as part of this saga.

The next installment, Breaking Dawn, is scheduled to be released as two parts, with the first film scheduled to premier in late 2011 and then the second in late 2012.

The first three films in this saga are all available on DVD, and have all received a rating of PG-13 from the MPAA.

Twilight

This is the opening film in the series premiered in November of 2008. The film has a running time of slightly over two hours.

New Moon

Released in November 2009, this is the next part and is two hours and ten minutes in length.

Eclipse

And lastly, the third part came out in theatres in June of 2010, and also is just over two hours in length.
