Directed by Jane Campion, who had also directed the Oscar-Winning and excellent movie called "The Piano" back in 1993, "Bright Star" is a lavishing, and beautifully made period romance movie based on the passionate romance between the famous poet John Keats and his neighbor Fanny Brawne, which supposedly inspired the romantic poetry of John Keats. Featuring Ben Whishaw, Abbie Cornish, Paul Schneider, and Kerry Fox while released in 2009, this film is an excellent piece of great filmmaking.

A wonderful animation film from Pixar and Disney, with the voice talents of Edward Asner, Christopher Plummer, Jordan Nagai, and Bob Peterson, directed By Pete Docter and Bob Peterson, from 2009.
The movie tells the wonderful poignant and touching tale of the true love between Carl and Ellie, and also the adventure that Carl has with young Wilderness explorer named Russell and a talking dog named Dug.

I Love You, Man
A romantic comedy from 2009, starring Paul Rudd, Jason Segel, Rashida Jones, and J. K. Simmons, directed By John Hamburg. After Pete proposes to his girlfriend Zooey, life seems to be complete. All he needs is his fiancée and his job. However, who will be his best man at the wedding? As Zooey and Pete's family try to help him find a male friend, comedy and chaos ensue.

Away We Go
Starring John Krasinski, Maya Rudolph, Jeff Daniels, and Maggie Gyllenhaal, from 2009 and directed by Sam Mendes. How do you know where home is? When Verona is about to have a baby, she and her husband Burt travel around the country, visiting family and trying to find out where they should raise their baby. However, along the way they learn a lot about life and love. A must see movie for all!
Adam
A poignant love story about Adam, a young man with Asperger syndrome, who falls in love with school teacher, Beth, after she moves into his apartment building in New York. Adam has been craving for an emotional connection like the one he has with Beth, but can love overcome his disease. Starring Hugh Dancy, Rose Byrne, Peter Gallagher, and Amy Irving, and directed by Max Mayer, released in 2009.

(500) Days of Summer
(500) Days of Summer stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Zooey Deschanel, Chloë Moretz, and Geoffrey Arend, and is directed by Marc Webb.
This film is a romantic comedy about two polar opposites, the hopeless romantic Tom, who falls in love with the free spirited Summer, but can these two opposites make it work? Duplicity
Not only is this a spy thriller romance movie, but also a very funny comedy film, starring Clive Owen, Julia Roberts, Tom Wilkinson, and Paul Giamatti and directed by Tony Gilroy.
Two spies and lovers, Ray and Claire, concoct a final plan to rip off their corporate bosses, but who is trying to outwit who? This is a pretty fun movie that delivers lots of intense moments of suspense and intrigue making it quite an entertaining watch.

My Life in Ruins
"My Life in Ruins" is a romantic comedy starring Nia Vardalos (she also starred as an lead actress in My Big Fat Greek Wedding), Richard Dreyfuss, Alexis Georgoulis, and Harland Williams. Directed by Donald Petrie, who also directed a superb romantic comedy Miss Congeniality, this movie is all about a five-day tour that takes place in the ruins of Greece. Leading a tour through Greece, Greek-American Georgia, thinks she is teaching the tourists about Greek history, but they end up teaching her about love and life.

New In Town
When sophisticated Lucy, a consultant from Miami, is sent to a small town in Minnesota, she could not stand out more and is counting the days until she can return to Miami. Ghosts of Girlfriends Past
Released in 2009, "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past" stars Matthew McConaughey, Jennifer Garner, Emma Stone and Noureen DeWulf and was directed by Mark Waters.
