Movie Soundtracks are fun, entertaining and highly enjoyable. With growing popularity, now filmmakers and studios have started to pour extra efforts to make sure that the movie has the best musical soundtracks. And these days, soundtrack is most commonly understood as the music ( consists at least one or all of these: film score, original musical songs, or pop songs ) of that particular film. Being big fans of film soundtracks, we decided to make this list, which provides information on soundtracks from some great classic romance movies of all time. Considered to be one of the best romantic musicals of all time, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers’ soundtrack is truly amazing. Filled with great music, great songs, and great lyrics, this Academy Award-winning soundtrack, is a must for any musical movies fan. Splendid performance by Howard Keel, Jane Powell, Johnny Mercer, and the MGM Studio Orchestra. Highly Recommended.

West Side Story (Film Soundtrack)

Hailed as one of the greatest romantic musical movies ever, West Side Story’s soundtrack is a must-have for any music lover. With the wonderful music by Leonard Bernstein, and brilliant lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, and featuring such tracks such as A Boy Like That/I Have a Love, Maria, I feel Pretty, this soundtrack still rocks!

Gigi (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)

A blockbuster and Academy Award Winning movie that came out in 1954, and extremely popular among fans of musicals, Gigi’s soundtrack features such timeless classics such as: Thank Heaven For Little Girls, It’s a Bore, I remember it well , Gigi (Received Best Song Award) . One of the most joyous and finest grand musicals of all time, this soundtrack is a must for all music fans.

My Fair Lady (1964 Movie Soundtrack)

My Fair Lady is certainly one of the most popular musical romance films of all time! Featuring tracks like Wouldn’t It Be Loverly, I Could Have Danced All Night, With a Little Bit of Luck, On the Street Where You Live, Get Me to the Church on Time, this soundtrack is just as enjoyable as the movie.

Singing in the Rain (1952 Movie Soundtrack)

Singing in the Rain deserves to be on our list, and we all know the reasons why. This is definitely the finest and one of the greatest musicals of all time that have still managed to conquer our hearts. And this soundtrack album, which is the complete 50th Anniversary Edition, does full justice to the fans, offering 46 tracks including 12 previously unreleased tracks. For anyone who is a big fan of this movie, then this soundtrack album is definitely a dream come true.

An American in Paris (1951 Film Soundtrack)

Made in 1951, Eight Academy Award winner along with the Best Score, An American in Paris’s soundtrack features marvelous and famous tracks such as Someone to Watch Over Me, Love Is Here to Stay, and S’Wonderful.  This double disc soundtrack album is a must- have for all Gershwin and MGM musical fans! Great performances by Oscar Levant, Benny Carter, and Gene Kelly.
