Top New Romantic Movies From 2012

 

At any time of any year, one can expect to find some new and good romance movies coming to theatres or being released on DVD and video. One might think that with romantic flicks coming out all of the time that these pictures might get a bit repetitive. Maybe sometimes they do, but one may also be surprised to see that the film industry does try to bring some variety to the movies that are released. There are romantic dramas, comedies, and period pieces; on top of that there is a range of settings, in which these flicks take place. Plus to continue to draw on fresh inspiration, some pictures have even been based off of books.

To give some examples, the flick “The Lucky One” is based on the novel that was written by popular contemporary author Nicholas Sparks. Another adaptation being released in 2012 is the film “The Great Gatsby”. This picture bases its tale on classic writer F. Scott Fitzgerald’s archetypal and ageless work of the same name.
