Romantic Movies 2002

Each year, films are released which fall into the romantic genre, but some of them contain better love stories than others. Here we have brought together our picks for the popular and some of the best ones from the year 2002. There were a few romantic historical movies released this year, like “The Four Feathers” and “Nicholas Nickleby”, which was adapted from the Charles Dickens’s novel. If however, you feel like a foreign film, then we highly recommend the Japanese film, “The Twilight Samurai”.

Actress Reese Witherspoon starred in two very different types of films in this year. The first was the period piece “The Importance of Being Earnest”, which is an adaptation of the Oscar Wilde play. And the second was the contemporary romantic comedy “Sweet Home Alabama”, which takes place in both New York and Alabama. Adam Sandler also appeared in two romantic pictures, first was the comedy “Mr. Deeds” and also the independent feature “Punch-Drunk Love”.
