Romance Movies 2001

 

There was a broad range of many good romance movies which premiered in this year and when categorized, they fall into many different sub-genres. For instance, there were teen romances such as “Summer Catch” and “Crazy/Beautiful”. Then there were several contemporary comedies, like “Head Over Heels” and “Someone Like You”. For those who like a historical setting, you may wish to check out the “The Majestic”, which is set in the early 1950s. For fans of Shakespeare’s plays, “O” is an updated adaptation of “Othello”, set in a modern-day high school. In this year, several actors appeared in more than one film, such as John Cusack, Julia Stiles Freddie Prinze Jr., Kirsten Dunst and Hugh Jackman.
