Romance Movies 2000

The first year of the new millennium brought with it many top and good romantic movies. Matt Damon appeared in two pictures this year, which were released back to back, one in November and the next in December. Coincidentally, both of these films had directors who are actors as well. The first was “The Legend of Bagger Vance” from director Robert Redford and the second was “All The Pretty Horses” which was directed by Billy Bob Thornton.

But these weren’t the only films this year which featured directors who are also actors. Edward Norton directed the film “Keeping the Faith”, while the romantic comedy “Return to Me”, had Bonnie Hunt as the director. If you are in the mood for some pictures set either entirely or partly in France, then check out “Chocolat” and “The Man Who Cried” both of which also star Johnny Depp. In addition, we could not forget to add these two foreign language films to our compilation, “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” and “The Princess and The Warrior”. Like with our other lists, all of the movies are listed chronologically by their release date.
