Historical Romance Movies
Sometimes when you are in the mood to watch a movie, you don’t always feel like something that takes place in a contemporary setting. At times, you may wish to be transported to a completely different place and time. In films, there are many ways that this can be achieved. If you want a completely new world, that has never existed or could exist in the future, then science fiction, or fantasy films, would be the best way to go.
But sometimes when looking for romantic movies, you may feel like a setting that is somewhat removed from the present, and that sends one back in time. If this is what you are looking for, then a good historical romance could be exactly what you need. These films could be combined with Period Romance movies, but we have decided to create a separate page and list just for them.
