Chick Flicks 2012
When the name chick flick is heard, people normally think of films filled with romance and with a cast of all women. But that doesn’t necessarily have to be the case, chick flicks could simply be movies that would appeal to women, and that women would want watch. So here are some films which are set to be released or have been released in the year of 2012.
Coming early in the year is the biopic, “The Iron Lady”, in which Meryl Streep plays Margaret Thatcher. Coming on January 27th, there’s the action comedy “One for the Money” starring Katherine Heigl. And also on that date, is the period drama “Albert Nobbs”. The much anticipated movie “The Hunger Games”, which is based on the popular novels by Suzanne Collins. If one wants to find a good chick flick that one can also take the kids to, then there’s Disney and Pixar’s film “Brave”, with a release date in June.
So there is lots of variety this year in the types of films which we have included on our list. So we hope that there is something here to fit lots of people’s tastes and moods. If we haven’t included your favorite from this year, then be sure to let us know and we will strive to update our list.
