Chick Flicks 2008
At times it can feel like finding some good chick flicks is hard, especially if you have to weed through lots of other types of films. But that is why we have created these pages devoted especially to these types of films, separated by year.
From this year, there were comedies, like “Baby Mama” and “Made of Honor” and dramas such as “Rachel Getting Married”. And as with many of our other lists, there are several movies which are based on books. One is “The Secret Life of Bees” based on the novel by Sue Monk Kidd and set during the 1960s in South Carolina. And the period movie “Brideshead Revisted” an adaptation of British author Evelyn Waugh’s novel of the same name.
The selection of films from this year is listed below based on their date of release. These are just a few of the flicks that we feel fall into this sub-genre from this particular year.
