Amanda Bynes Movies
Bynes has acted both in movies and on television series, since she was a young girl. The films that she has starred in tend to be geared toward teenagers. And many are either romantic in nature, or would be considered chick flicks.
One of her first roles was on the Nickelodeon comedy series “All That”. She went on to star in “The Amanda Show” and then later in “What I Like About You”. While working in television, she was also making movies. One of her first pictures was “Big Fat Liar”, in which she co-starred with Paul Giamatti and Frankie Muniz. The next year in 2003, she stared in “What a Girl Wants”, which combines a little bit of drama, comedy and romance, all in one. This flick mostly takes place in England.
Next, Bynes was in the humorous and romantic adventure “Love Wrecked”, though it didn’t premiere on television in the USA until February of 2007. But the flick was presented at the Dominican Republic International Film Festival in 2005. Then in 2006, another comedic and romantic teenage movie, “She’s the Man” was released. In 2007 came “Sydney White”, which was loosely based on the timeless fairytale “Snow White”, but with a contemporary spin. Bynes was also part of the cast for the Lifetime channel television movie “Living Proof”, which starred Harry Connick Jr. And most recently, she was part of the cast of the romantic comedy “Easy A”, which starred another young actress, Emma Stone.
